Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator enhanced in its rigidity while making the thickness of the wall of a refrigerator body is made thin.SOLUTION: A frame reinforcement member 61 comprising a three-shaft structure of a side plate frame part 61a, a vertical frame part 61b and a support frame part 61d, is fixed to a connection part between an outer box both-side plate 2b and a front plate member 62 connecting the plate, and an almost L-shape auxiliary reinforcement member 63 is fixedly superimposed on the frame reinforcement member 61. According to such a structure, an outer box is reinforced by three shafts of the vertical frame part, the lateral frame part and the support frame part of the frame reinforcement member 61, and the auxiliary reinforcement member 63 supports reinforcement effect by the frame reinforcement member 61, so that the rigidity of the body of a refrigerator is made high. As a result, the thickness of the wall of the body is made thin to increase the volume of a storage chamber, and the rigidity of the body can be made sufficiently high even though the reinforcement effect due to the foam heat insulation material is reduced by reduction in the thickness of the body wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
