To provide a refrigerator that improves workability of a machine chamber.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a refrigerator body comprising an inner box in which a storage chamber is formed; a machine chamber provided behind and outside the refrigerator body, and opened on a back side; and a compressor provided in the machine chamber, and constituting a portion of a refrigeration cycle for cooling the inside of the storage chamber.
