Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability for fall prevention even if disposing a compressor on the top face of a refrigerator.
SOLUTION: A heat insulating box body 1 with the compressor 16 disposed on the top face is provided with at least two heat insulating sections in a vertical direction, and provided with a revolving door type refrigerating chamber 2 at the upper part and a storage chamber including a freezing chamber 3 or the like at the lower part. The heat insulating box body 1 is composed of an inner box 22, an outer box 23, a foam heat insulator 24 and a vacuum heat insulating material 25 larger in density than the foam heat insulator 24. The total weight of the vacuum heat insulating material 25 disposed below a lower end face 45 of the refrigerating chamber 2 is made larger than the total weight of the vacuum heat insulating material 25 disposed above the lower end face 45. The lower weight can thereby be increased in comparison with the upper weight of the refrigerator to improve stability against a fall.
