Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a regenerated resin composition suitable for film, sheet, floor covering material, etc., hardly having a smell of l-menthol by blending waste pieces of resin composition containing l-menthol with thermoplastic resin and active carbon. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (preferably the same resin as a base resin of waste pieces of component B, e.g. polyvinyl chloride) is blended with (B) 1-50 pts.wt., preferably 5-20 pts.wt. waste pieces of resin composition containing l-menthol and (C) 5-30 pts.wt., preferably 10-25 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. component B of active carbon. Preferably the component B is blended with the component C, aged and mixed with the component B in a molten state.
