Abstract:
PURPOSE:To aim at improving the combustion of a burner and preventing a flame from rising up, by installing a taper-like center round hole in a circular central part partitioning a burner chamber for Diesel particulate filter regeneration and a combustion cylinder each and a lot of swirl forming holes in the peripheral part respectively. CONSTITUTION:Fuel and primary air flow in from the upper part of a burner 1 and mixed together, and primary fuel-air mixture is jetted out of a nozzle 2 at the lower end. At a space between a burner chamber where secondary air flows in the periphery of the burner 1 and a combustion cylinder 3, there is provided with a flame holder 4 which partitions both 3 and 4 each. At the center of the flame holder 4, a hole being made up in a form outwardly expanded and tapered is opened concentrically with the burner nozzle 2, and moreover a lot of titled swirl generating holes 6 are made up around the peripheral part of the flame holder 4.
