PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain excellent reinforcing effect and vibration dampening effect, by laminating a heat-curable sheet and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet to a sheet metal so as to slightly overlap the end part of said heat- curable sheet to the adhesive sheet while curing both of them under heating.
CONSTITUTION: Polyvinyl acetate, a diaryl phthalate monomer, a filler and an additive are mixed and the resulting mixture is stretched into a sheet form while a resinforcing filler layer is formed to the surface of the formed sheet to prepare a sheet like substrate which is, in turn, coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to form a heat-curable sheet 2. One end part of this sheet 2 is overlapped to the surface of a pressure-sensitive sheet 1 formed by coating one surface of a sheet like substrate, wherein asphalt, rubber and a filler are compounded in a predetermined ratio, with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The overlapping width (W) of both sheets 1, 2 is pref. 1/4 of the entire width of the heat-curable sheet 2 and the substrates 6, 7 are cured by heating both sheets 1, 2.
