Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing the reinforced concrete floor board of an existing bridge in a low cost by suppressing the increase of dead excessive weight without interrupting the traffic.
SOLUTION: A newly provided vertical girder 10 is provided between existing vertical girders 2, 2, and the lower part of the newly provided vertical girder is lifted by a tendon fixed on the existing vertical girders 2, 2 of both the sides. A lightweight non-curing continuous carbon fiber having high strength and glass fiber reinforced plastic are used for a tightening cable 11 and the newly provided vertical girder 10.
