Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contact failure and lowering of service life of a relay contact by equalizing timing with respect to an AC power supply waveform, without deviating to one polarity and peak value of voltage, in opening and closing the relay contact for the first time after the power is applied.
SOLUTION: This relay control device includes a relay contact 9 for turning on and off current application to a heater 2, a relay coil 11 for opening and closing the relay contact 9, and a microcomputer 3 for controlling energization of the relay coil 11 so that the temperature detected by a temperature detecting wire 4 becomes a desired temperature. First time energization of the relay coil 11 after the power is applied is performed in random timing to the AC power supply waveform.
