Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress die seizure or galling by coating each of a plurality of regions of a die molding face with a mold release agent matching with temperature, and to prevent a deterioration in product quality due to excessive oil content.SOLUTION: A controller 50 sets an optimum mold release agent concentration for each section by a mold release agent concentration setting part 52 on the basis of temperature for each section of a die molding face measured by a die temperature measurement part 51. The amount of a mold release agent and that of a diluent are adjusted by a mold release agent concentration adjusting part 53 to reach a set mold release agent concentration, and the position of a spray unit 5 is controlled via a robot arm 3 in a mold release agent coating control part 54 to spray the die molding face out of the spray unit 5 with a mold release agent the concentration of which is adjusted for each section. This operation enables a metal mold to be cooled properly, and a proper mold release film to be formed on the surface of a metal mold, so that the deposition of excessive oil content can be prevented while preventing die seizure or galling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
