PURPOSE: To obtain the subject preparation capable of controlling elution or release of a medicinal effect component even after reaching the large intestine and maintaining a high blood concentration, by combining partial compositions prepared by coating a medicinal effect component with a water-soluble base, an intestinum tenue-soluble base and a large intestine soluble-base.
CONSTITUTION: This preparation comprises (A) a partial composition having a medicinal effect component coated with a water-soluble base or not, (B) a partial composition having a medicinal effect component coated with a base soluble or destroyable in an intestinum tenue or not and (C) a partial composition having a medicinal effect component coated with a base soluble or destroyable in a large intestine or not. Gelatin is preferable as the water-soluble base of the component A, carboxymethyl cellulose is preferable as the base soluble or destroyable in an intestinum tenue of the component B. A copolymer obtained from terephthalic acid or isophthalic acid, polytetramethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol and cellobiose is preferable as the base soluble or destroyable in a large intestine of the component C.
