To provide a remover for α-cyanoacrylate type adhesives which dissolves hard-to-dissolve hardened products relatively easily and a method of removing the screen for printing to use the expensive frame twice or more.

The remover for α-cyanoacrylate type adhesives contains at least 10 wt.% of four- to seven-membered cyclic esters. The method comprises applying the remover to a hardened product of the adhesive in a structure consisting of a printing screen adhering to a metal-made frame with an α-cyanoacrylate type adhesive containing at least 10 wt.% of four- to seven-membered cyclic esters so as to dissolve the hardened product and thereby remove the screen from the metal-made frame.
