Title:
REMOVING AGENT FOR NOX AND SOX ATTACHED TO MASK OR AIR PURIFYING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07213894
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To largely remove NOx and SOx in air by allowing a sintered porous cylinder or the like to absorb an aq. soln. containing sodium tungstate, sodium molybdata, triethanol amine, and glycol, drying the cylinder to obtain an absorption medium, then inserting the obtd. adsorption medium into the core material of a mask to be used as a purifying material.

CONSTITUTION: A porous or fibrous cylinder of a calcium mixture of calcium salt and clay or a ceramic mixture is impregnated with an aq. soln. prepared by adding molybdate, calcium magnesium salts, and triethanol amine to tungstate which selectively absorbs SOx and NOx. Then, a small amt. of bactericide, adhesive, zirconium, hafnium oxide, active carbon, humic acid, and zeolite adsorbent is deposited on the porous of fibrous cylinder. Thus, a mask or filter of the fiber which removes SOx and NOx and an adsorption medium for air purifying device are obtd. These air-purifying materials show ≥80% removing rate of NOx and SOx in air and maintain the effect. Thus, illness caused by polluted air can be deceased by purifying air with this mask or the air-purifying device.
