Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and surely remove endotoxin by forming an endotoxin adsorption membrane for removing endotoxin from an endotoxin-containing solution from a polyarylate and a polyethersulfone.
CONSTITUTION: The endotoxin adsorption membrane is formed by having the polyarylate and the polyethersulfone and has the average pore size of 20-100&angst . And adsorption membrane is a hollow fiber type membrane and is constituted as an endotoxin adsorbing apparatus provided with a cylindrical casing main body, which has opening parts at the both ends and liquid inlet and outlet formed on the peripheral surface, and a bundle of the adsorption membranes, which is housed in the main body, is fixed with a resin at the opening parts of both end sides and has an opening end on the end face formed from the resin. And endotoxin is removed by passing the endotoxin-containing solution through the adsorption membrane and mixing a non-passed portion and a passed portion.
