Title:
REPELLING OF RODENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5543047
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To repel rodents, safely and effectively, by mixing a rodent repellent and a compound which produces gas by heat decomposition, and heating the mixture without combustion.

CONSTITUTION: A redent repellent (e.g. warfarin, coumatetralin, etc.) is mixed with a heat-decomposition gas-generating compound (e.g. azodicarbonamide, 2,2'- azobisisobutyramide), and the mixture is heated indirectly, without causing the combustion of the component, to decompose the heat-decomposition compound. The repellent is fumed effectively by the action of the generated gas, and repels the rodents without accompanying irritant odor or smoke, and danger of fire hazard.
