Abstract:
To provide a novel resettable cylinder lock and its resetting method.
This cylinder lock includes a lock housing 11 receiving a plug assembly 2 having a key hole, a tumbler piece 23 having respective tooth parts, and a resetting unit 3. The resetting unit 3 has a rotatable wheel gear 33 separably meshing with the respective tooth parts and repositioning the respective tumbler pieces 23. The wheel gear 33 moves in the horizontal direction to the axis in the longitudinal direction of the lock housing 11, and separates from the respective tooth parts.
