Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residue-rise detection device and a residue-rise detection method, capable of accurately detecting a residue-rise regardless of a construction material and a size of a residue.SOLUTION: The residue-rise detection device for detecting the residue-rise generated when press-working a processing object material 4 by a punch 7, comprises displacement measuring means 9 for measuring displacement of a stripper 6 for pressing down the processing object material 4, bottom detection means 13 for detecting a bottom value (c) of a first bound when the stripper 6 collides with the processing object material 4 based on the displacement of the stripper 6 measured by the displacement measuring means 9, peak detection means 15 for detecting a peak value of the first bound based on the displacement of the stripper 6 measured by the displacement measuring means 9 and determining means 18 for determining the existence of the residue-rise by comparing a calculation value determined based on the peak value or the bottom value and the peak value with a predetermined set value.
