PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent for metal having corrosion resistance and heat resistance which is excellent in removability of scale and can be used for a heat exchanger, a pipe and the like.SOLUTION: A resin composition for metal coating contains (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a phenolic resin containing one or more structures selected from phenol, allyl ether phenol, and alkyl ether phenol, and (C) a metal compound made of one or more selected from a zinc compound, a manganese compound, and a copper compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
