To provide a resin composition comprising a polyphenylene ether and a hydrogenated block copolymer and having excellent fluidity, mechanical characteristics and the like.

The resin composition includes 1-99 mass% (a) polyphenylene ether, 99-1 mass% (b) hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer comprising at least 2 polymer blocks A mainly comprising a vinyl aromatic compound and at least 1 polymer block B mainly comprising a diene compound is provided. In the resin composition, the polyphenylene ether includes 5-20 mass% component having ≥50,000 molecular weight and 12-30 mass% component having ≤8,000 molecular weight based on the whole polyphenylene ether, and the hydrogenated block copolymer has ≤100,000 number average molecular weight (Mnb) as the hydrogenated block copolymer and the polymer block A has ≥8,000 number average molecular weight (MnbA).
