Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for a sound wave reflection reducing material capable of uniformly dispersing a low-specific gravity filler and a high-specific gravity filler and the underwater sound wave reflection reducing material.
SOLUTION: This resin composition is obtained by dispersing microballoons 3 as a low-specific gravity filler having 0.01-0.10 specific gravity and a powdery or a granular material 4 as a high-specific gravity filler having 2-10 specific gravity in a reactive curing resin 2 capable of making the fillers in a nonfluid state within 30 s after starting the reaction. The sound wave reflection reducing material 1 is molded from the resin composition.
