Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a resin-molded lens which is small in size and produced at low cost with good workability for molding, can be molded into a shape of high accuracy, and causes no change in focus position due to adsorption of moisture even when the lens is used in an environment containing moisture. CONSTITUTION:This lens consists of a lens effective part 16 and an extra molded part 17. The incident light 18 along the axial direction transmits through the lens effective part 16, while the incident light 18 does not transmit through the extra molded part 17 formed around the effective part 16. The extra molded part 17 has >=3mm thickness (t) in the perpendicular direction to the optical axis on all sides parallel to the optical axis of the effective lens part 16. If the lens effective part 16 has >=6mm length along the optical axis, the extra molded part 17 has thickness (t)<1/2 of the length of the lens effective part 16 having >6mm length along the optical axis.
