To provide a resin-sliding material that prevents the color of a partner metal coming into slide contact with the resin-sliding material from being changed into black due to rust, even under high-temperature high-humidity conditions and that is excellent in low friction, abrasion resistance, and creep resistance in the presence of a lubricant.
The resin-sliding material for machine tool comes into slide contact with the partner metal in the presence of the lubricant and consists mainly of a PTFE resin. The resin-sliding material is blended with metal powders lower in standard single electrode potential than that of a material metal of the partner metal. Alternatively, the resin-sliding material is blended with a regenerated PTFE resin powder.
