Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease frictional resistance of the bottom of a small planing boat through simple constitution, to increase a maximum sip speed, and to improve acceleration performance.
SOLUTION: A discharge port 4 through which air is discharged in water is formed in the part, forming a water surface, of the bottom of a small planing boat. By utilizing a ram pressure during running of a hull, air is inputted in a discharge port 4 from the outside of the hull by means of a discharge duct 5 and guided to a discharge port 4, and discharged in water through the discharge port 4. By peeling an external water flow from the bottom by means of the discharge air, the occurrence of frictional resistance at the bottom is reduced, a maximum ship speed is increased, and acceleration performance is improved.
