To provide a mounting structure of a welt capable of preventing displacement and dropping after being mounted by enhancing relative positioning accuracy without impairing an insertion property and a mounting property to a panel flange at a counterpart side.
The structure is configured by mounting a welt 5 to an overlap flange 11 formed by overlapping a flange 9a where a fold back part 12 is formed at its tip and the other flange 10a. In the regular assembling state of the welt 5, the welt 5 is positioned relatively to the overlap flange 11 by seating the flange 10a on a bottom wall 5a of the welt 5, and the fold back part 12 is pinched by a pair of a presser lip 16 and a positioning lip 17 of a C-shape cross section formed at a leg piece 5b of the welt 5.
