Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smooth pressure and flow wave shape of air output from a respiratory port of a rotary valve and to relieve burden to the lung of a patient.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary valve mechanism 9 is provided with a rotary valve 44, a pressurizing port P1, a negative pressure port P2 and a respiratory port 3 and the pressurizing port P1 and the negative pressure port P2 are arranged at positions being apart each other at a specified interval and flow paths are respectively formed between the pressurizing port P1 and the respiratory port P3 and between the negative pressure port P2 and the respiratory port P3. In addition, a pair of valve parts 48 wherein rotary valves 44 are arranged in facing each other by placing a rotational shaft 37 between them and a pair of valve parts 49 and 50 arranged in facing each other by placing the rotational shaft 37 between them, are provided and the valve parts 48 and the valve parts 49 and 50 are set in such a condition that the phase relation of both valve parts is deviated at a specified angle in the peripheral direction of the rotational shaft 37.
