Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a return tube for a ball screw mechanism having a high durability.SOLUTION: A return tube (2) arranged in a ball screw mechanism (1) includes a ball passage (13) inside of it, and the ball passage (13) is connected to a rolling raceway (8) formed between a ball screw (3) and a ball nut (4) at two connecting points (12). As seen from an axial direction of the ball screw mechanism (1), such a ball passage (13) as above is formed to draw a circular orbit (23) near the connecting points (12). The circular orbit (23) is constituted as the circular orbit (23) where a rolling raceway circle is projected in an axial direction and internally contacted with it at the connecting points (12). With this arrangement, a load of the balls acting against a tongue part (16) is decreased and its deterioration is prevented.
