Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a structure that capable of ensuring strength and rigidity while ensuring a joint angle of a universal joint.SOLUTION: Connection parts 20a, 20a between the inside surfaces of a pair of connection arm parts 15, 15 and the one end surface of a base part 14 are composite curve surfaces configured by smoothly continuing inner diameter-side and outer diameter-side curve surface parts 21, 22 by a flat surface part 23 whose curvature radius is infinite. Then, in the connection parts 20a, 20a, portions including intersections X, X between virtual straight lines α, α connecting both end edges in a circumferential direction of the inside surfaces of the connection arm parts 15, 15 with a central axis C of a rotational shaft, and the opening edge part of a connection hole 16 are positioned on the flat surface part 23.
