Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly cool each ice making compartment, even if using a refrigerant having a temperature glide, and thereby achieve stable ice making.SOLUTION: A reverse cell type ice maker IU includes: a cooler 1, which has a number of ice making compartments 2 that are opened downward, and in which an evaporation pipe 3 is provided on an external surface 1A of an upper wall; and a water pan 4 for blocking each ice making compartment 2 from a lower side. In the reverse cell type ice maker IU, a refrigerator R with the evaporation pipe 3 is filled with a non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant, and also the volume of the ice making compartment 2 of the cooler 1 is reduced as approaching a refrigerant outlet 3B of the evaporation pipe 3.
