Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a reverse power absorbing heater by absorbing part of the electromotive force generated from a DC motor by a ship load and absorbing the remainder to the reverse power absorbing heater. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 5 compares a power consumption detection output in a ship detected by a current transformer 1, a transformer 2 and a 3-phase power detector 3 with a set value for operating a reverse power absorbing heater 9 set by a minimum power consumption setter 4. When the detected value is smaller than the set value, the heater 9 is controlled ON or OFF through a signal output circuit 8 until the detected value becomes larger than the set value. When the detected value increases larger than the set value, the heater 9 is turned OFF at the time limit by the output circuit 8.
