Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a reversible heat-sensitive recording medium which has an excellent contrast between a transparent part and an opaque part of an image to be formed on a heat-sensitive recording layer and in which its performance is not deteriorated by using it for a long period.
CONSTITUTION: A reversible heat-sensitive recording medium comprises a heat- sensitive recording layer in which organic low-molecular weight substance is dispersed in organic polymer resin and transparency is reversibly changed according to a temperature and which is provided on a support, wherein the resin contains inner plasticized polyvinyl chloride.
