Title:
REVOLUTION SPEED CONTROLLER OF COOLING FAN OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63124820
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To maintain the optimum revolution speed by increasing the flow rate of working liquid supplied for a hydraulic motor driving a cooling fan, in accordance with increase in both temperatures of cooling water and the working liquid and compensating the variation in capacity of a hydraulic motor on the basis of variation in temperature of working liquid. CONSTITUTION:Working liquid inside a reserve tank 20 is forced to be sent from a pump 16 into a hydraulic motor 12 driving a cooling fan 10 which blows a radiator 52. The flow rate of the working liquid to be sent into the hydraulic motor 12 is controlled by a flow rate control valve 26 mounted in a bypass pipe 24, whereby controlling the revolution speed of said motor. A controller 30 which governs the flow rate control valve 26 receives both the detecting values of a cooling water temperature sensor 32 and a working liquid temperature sensor 34. When the temperature of the cooling water rises higher and the temperature of the working liquid rises higher, the controller 30 generates a control signal to the flow rate control valve 26 to increase the flow rate of the working liquid supplied to the hydraulic motor 12.
