Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily open and close a revolving door by revolving and stopping a door having a projecting face in its front surface and a recessed face in its rear face by means of a driving unit controlled by stoppers arranged in both sides of an entrance respectively.
CONSTITUTION: A person who is going to enter a room l stands in a door board revolving area close to a door board 12 and makes any one of stoppers 6, 6 project directly from its retracted positions. The board 12 is then revolved by a driving unit 20 and turns half through a side of the other stopper 6, and the board 12 stops at a position to abut on one stopper 6. The other stopper 6 is then retains the board 12 at a closing position outside the room l. As a result, the person standing in a door board revolving area outside the door board 12, enters the inside of the board, namely the room 1. It is thus possible to revolve a revolving door easily to open or close it.
