Title:
RICE-COOKER WITH STEAM-REMOVING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04187113
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent generated steam from exhausting in a room, by a method wherein a heat-exchanger and a fan are, above and below, placed respectively at the rear part of a rice-cooker main body, the heat-exchanger is provided in an air-sending path communicating with a fan chamber, and the heat- exchanger and a steam-opening are connected with a flexible tube.

CONSTITUTION: Steam generated in a rice-cooking pot 5 by the heating of a rice-cooking heater 6 passes a steam-opening 21 through an inner lid 3, and flows at an inlet part for heat-exchanging pipes 11 through a flexible tube 20, following which it flows in the direction of arrow marks at the inside of heat-exchanging pipes 11 and arrives at an outlet part on the lower part. At this time, the heat of the steam in the heat-exchanging pipes 11 is absorbed into cooling-air sent by a fan 9 through an air-sending path 16, and the steam is turned into condensed water, and it falls in a drain tank 15 through a drain hole 14. Furthermore, when the cooling-air sucked from a suction opening 10a by the fan 9 flows in the air-sending path 16, the cooling air is bent on the side of a heat-exchanger 8 by louvers 17 and is equally applied to all the surfaces of the heat-exchanger 8.
