Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice washing device freed from any water leakage, even with a secular change, from between an outlet part in the lower part of a rice washing cylinder and a conical valve.SOLUTION: A vertically directed pouring shaft 16a is attached to the upper end of a pouring valve 22 for opening and closing the opening in the lower end part of a rice washer 3, and opening/closing means composed of a rising-lowering arm 90 for moving the pouring shaft 16a vertically to open and close the pouring valve 22 is attached. The pouring shaft 16a is equipped at its upper portion with pouring shaft position adjusting means A for positioning the pouring valve 22 by moving the pouring shaft 16a vertically. In the case, therefore, where the closed position of the opening of the rice washer 3 is offset due to the aging change by the pouring valve 22 thereby to form a clearance between the opening of the rice washer 3 and the pouring valve 22, the clearance can be eliminated by the adjustment of the pouring shaft position adjusting means A thereby to prevent the water leakage.
