Abstract:
To suppress clogging of cut grass in a cut grass space caused when a rotary blade is activated in a riding type mower.SOLUTION: A riding type mower includes: a driver's seat provided for a traveling machine body; a mower deck supported by the traveling machine body; a rotary blade arranged in a cut grass space formed by a lateral wall and a top plate of the mower deck; a blade motor 4 supplying the rotary blade with power; and a blade motor control unit 55 controlling the blade motor 4. The blade motor control unit 55 is provided with: a main drive control part 55a rotating the rotary blade forward; a sub drive control part 55b rotating the rotary blade backward for a short period; and a drive selection part 55c which selectively operates the main drive control part 55a and the sub drive control part 55b when starting cutting grass with the rotary blade.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
