Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of adjusting rimless spectacles having a frame member made of resin according to the size of a face.SOLUTION: Rimless spectacles comprise a pair of resin-made temples 20, a pair of wraparound endpieces 30, a fixture 50, and a resin-made bridge. A wraparound endpiece 30 comprises a metallic core part 35 and a resin-made coating part 40. The core part 35 is provided, at an end part on the side of a temple 20, with a frame 31 forming a hinge for coupling with the temple 20, and also has a third through hole 36 formed at an end part on the side of a lens 11. The coating part 40 has a fourth through hole 41, connecting with the third through hole 36, and a fifth through hole 42, connecting with the third through hole 36, formed in an end part on the side of a lens 11. The coating part 40 covers a curving or bending part of the core part 35 and an end part of the core part 35 on the side of the lens 11, but does not cover an end part 35 of the core part on the side of a temple 20. The coating part 40 is formed of a second resin material having lower hardness than a first resin material forming the bridge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
