Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the interruption time of service transmission signals by shortening time until all nodes inside a network start the restoration control of the service transmission signals in the case that a unidirectional active system transmission line fault is generated further in a section where a standby system transmission line is unusable.
SOLUTION: The respective nodes are provided with an MS-RDI reception means 23. For instance, in the case that an SF fault is generated in an active system transmission line SL (4) from the state where a fault is generated in the standby system transmission lines PL (1) and (2) of a segment C, the effect of SF fault generation is directly reported from the node C to the node D by MS-RDI signals. The MS-RDI signals are transmitted through a remaining active system transmission line SL (3) by an MS-RDI reporting means 22. In the node D, by receiving the MS-RDI signals by an MS-RDI reception means 23, the generation of ring changeover is recognized.
