PURPOSE: To obtain a new RNA sequence having a specific base sequence, derived from RNA of new enterobacterium which participates to increase in biophylaxis in mucous coat of the intestine and used for detection, etc., of the new enterobacterium as segment bacteria used as an active ingredient in enteric immune functional enhancer.
CONSTITUTION: This new RNA sequence has a base sequence expressed by formula I and is derived from 16S-γRNA of a segment bacterium BAL01 which is a new enteric bacterium and participates to increase in biophylaxis in mucous coat of the intestine and the segment bacterium BAL01 is used as an active ingredient, etc., in enteric immune functional enhancer. The segment bacterium BAL01 in the bowel or in evacuation can be detected by using a new DNA sequence expressed by formula II or formula III which is complementary to a partial sequence of the RNA sequence expressed by the formula I as a probe, and the screening of a segment bacterium-enhancing factor and an intestinal canal immune function enhancer can be carried out by using the increase of bacterial number of the detected segment bacterium BAL01 as an index.
