PURPOSE: To maintain the superior snow quality by embedding each evaporation part of a number of heat pipes into a concrete layer and projecting each condensation part of the heat pipes into the air and forming a heat shielding layer onto the undersurface of the concrete layer and forming a heat transmission layer onto the upper surface.
CONSTITUTION: On a road base 13 of an artificial skiing ground 11 having an artificial snow layer 15 on the upper side, the evaporation parts 14a of a number of heating pipes 14 laid in nearly parallel form are embedded into a concrete layer 13a, and the condensing parts 14b of the heat pipes 14 are projected into the air. A heat shielding layer 13b is formed on the undersurface of the concrete layer 13a, and an elastic layer 13c consisting of the member which possesses the elasticity of a rubber or resin mat which possesses the thermal conductivity is formed on the upper surface of the concrete layer 13a. Therefore, the formation of the artificial snow layer in excess of moisture is prevented, and the superior snow quality nearly same to the snow quality on the skiing ground in a cold region utilizing the natural snow fall can be maintained.
