Abstract:
To provide a road surface irregularity detection device for accurately determining whether a travelling road surface is rough.
Right and left axles for rotatively supporting right and left wheels 1 are connected with a beam member 5 through a trailing arm 3. Road surface irregularity is determined based on displacement of vertical inclination of the beam member 5. The inclination is found based on a mass body rotatively supported around a vehicular anteroposterior axis with respect to the beam member 5 and relative displacement detected by a relative displacement detection means in a rotation direction with respect to the beam member of the mass body.
