The notification apparatus is provided with route-traffic information extracting means (20, 30, 40, 50, 60) with which a broadcast about road traffic information is received and with which route traffic information on the scheduled running route is extracted to be held. The notification apparatus is provided with means (70, 80, 90), with which the route traffic information held by the route traffic information extraction means is notified to the driver with a prescribed timing, regarding a relationship with a place contained in the information and with which the sound volume of other voice output devices (RV, ST, SW, SP) is attenuated, when the information is notified.
