Abstract:

To control a gripping force to hand over a gripped object from a robot to a man in real time and to control a robot hand as if the object is transferred between men.

A robot arm 101 has a robot hand 102 to grip the object and a force sensor 103 to detect the force to act on the robot hand 102. When the force to act on the robot hand 102 detected by the force sensor 103 changes under the condition of the object gripped by the robot hand 102, a gripping force control means 108 outputs a release command (signal) to the robot hand 102 to release the gripping force to enable the object gripped by the robot to be handed over as if it is transferred between men.
