To provide a roll baler designed to reduce to-be-formed material loss and not to decrease the pack density of packed roll bales.
The roll baler works as follows. After the formation of roll bales R, the action of charging a to-be-formed material is halted, and in starting the induction of a net material 10A started after forming the roll bales R, the action of charging the to-be-formed material is started again to feed the to-be-started material into the space between the net material 10A induced in its wrapping direction and an inner circumference 201 of a forming space 20. This roll baler also has such a conveyor 5 that the action of charging the to-be-formed material is halted midway of inducing the net material 10A and such a hopper 4 that the action of feeding the to-be-formed material to the conveyor 5 is halted after forming the roll bales R.
