PURPOSE: To eliminate fully the labor for mounting, dismounting and transporting of rails by disposing rails secured to the top end part of levers in adjacent to the lateral side of the body of a titled installation, fitting the levers to the moving part of a forward and backward moving device and making the same erectable together with the rails.
CONSTITUTION: The pin holes 10 of traveling rails 1, 1' erected by the operation of actuators 2, 2' and the pin holes 7 of supporting fittings 4 are fitted together manually, and pins 11 are inserted. Then, the shafts 9 of bearings 8, the pins 6 of the fittings 4, and the pins 11 form triangle shapes. Therefore, falling down of the rails 1, 1' does not occur despite placing of a change roll assembly on the rails 1, 1'. After the roll change assembly is inserted to a body 13 of a leveling machine, the pins 11 are pulled off manually; at the same time, the fittings 4 are laid down horizontally to operate the actuators 2, 2', then the rails 1, 1' fall down around the shafts 9, to a horizontal state within the stroke limit thereof, thereby becoming flush with the floow surface. The steel plate 12 welded to the side faces of the rails 1, 1' serves as a floor plate on the working side.
