CONSTITUTION: The chock receiving units 5 to receive chocks C on two running trucks 3 arranged on both sides of a line of plural roll receiving frames 1 are equipped on this device and it is an equipment which attaches and detaches the chocks C through the chock receiving units 5 as the rolls R are mounted on the roll receiving frames 1, receiving blocks 1a for supporting the rolls equipped on the roll receiving frames 1 can be moved in the axial direction of each roll, cope with change of the axial length of each roll and equips a clamp head 9 to fix and hold the chocks C on the elevating frame 8 of the chock receiving units 5. In this way, the roll chock recombining device which can execute such attaching and detaching operation correspondingly to change of variety and size of the roll R and the chock C can be obtained.
