Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent liquid fuel from flowing into the inside of a roll-over valve from a fuel tank, by closing a valve seat corresponding to the inlet section of the roll-over valve with the use of a fuel cut-off valve. CONSTITUTION:A valve seat 2 directed downward is formed in the inside of a casing 1 coupled to at its upper end with a fuel tank. Further, a fuel cut-off valve 8 which is moved vertically by means of a spherical member 7 rolling on a concave conical surface positioned below the valve seat 2, is disposed right below the valve seat 2. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent liquid fuel flowing into the inside of the roll-over valve from the fuel tank, and further, to maintain the fuel cut-off valve in its closed condition, thereby it is possible to prevent the inside pressure of the fuel tank from becoming excessively high.
