To provide a roller chain incorporating a cylindrical roller, capable of reducing abrasion of side plates, and capable of reducing abrasion in the radial direction of the cylindrical roller.
In this conveyor roller chain incorporating the cylindrical roller, a plurality of cylindrical rollers are composed of a case-hardened steel cylindrical roller 4 and an oil impregnated sintered metal cylindrical roller 5. The case-hardened steel cylindrical roller 4 and the oil impregnated sintered metal cylindrical roller 5 are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction. A pair of side plates 6 and 6 are composed of oil impregnated sintered metal having respectively a collar part 6a and a cylindrical part 6b. An end surface of the respective collar parts 6b abuts on an end surface of a roller 3. The respective cylindrical parts 6b are fitted between an inner peripheral surface of the roller 3 and an outer peripheral surface of a bush 2. Mutual fitting of an outer peripheral surface of the respective cylindrical parts 6b and the inner peripheral surface of the roller 3 is performed by tight fit, and mutual fitting of the inner peripheral surface of the respective cylindrical parts 6b and the outer peripheral surface of the bush 2 is performed by clearance fit.
