Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage of which the assembling workability is improved and in which the occurrence of a rivet fastening failure is prevented.SOLUTION: The rolling bearing cage is formed by engaging a pair of wavy annular plates with each other and riveting overlap sites on the flat surfaces of both wavy annular plates. Both wavy annular plates each have rolling element storing swollen parts provided at several circumferential sites, flat surface parts between the swollen parts, and tapered rivet holes provided in the flat surface parts. The opposed tapered rivet holes are provided facing each other at the large diameter sides during assembling the pair of wavy annular plates. Thus, the assembling workability of the cage can be improved and the occurrence of a rivet fastening failure therein be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
