PURPOSE: To provide a rolling bearing having a locating snap ring, formed into such structure as not to fall easily from a housing.

CONSTITUTION: A locating snap ring 16 of ring shape with its diameter expandable is locked into a locking recessed groove formed at the peripheral surface of an outer ring 2, thus forming a rolling bearing with the locating snap ring. Protruding parts 17, 17 are formed at the locating snap ring 16 in such a state as to protrude outward in a diametral direction from the peripheral edge of the locating snap ring 16. Screws 19, 19 inserted through through-holes 18, 18 formed at the protruding parts 17, 17 are screwed into threaded holes formed at a housing 21.
