Abstract:
To stably elongate the service life of a rolling bearing used under conditions of high temperature, high speed and light load where the peeling starting from a surface and the smearing often occur.
A nitride layer 5 composed of only a diffusion layer and a chrome nitride coating film 6 formed by ion plating are formed on surfaces of raceway face sides of an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2 of a ball bearing made out of heat-proof bearing steel M50, whereby both of the peeling starting from the surface and the smearing can be prevented, and the service life of the ball bearing used under conditions of high temperature, high speed and light load can be stably elongated.
