To provide a rolling bearing as a touch-down bearing using no lubricating oil for hardly causing the wear of a resin coat, having improved durability, namely, a longer bearing life while developing the improved operating effects.
The rolling bearing, preferably, the touch-down bearing comprises an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 1, and a cage 3 for rotatably holding balls 4 as ceramics rolling elements therebetween, wherein a lubricating resin coat 3a having a coat thickness of 40-100 m and containing 10-50 volume% tungsten disulfide powder and a fluororesin or a polyamideimide resin as a binder resin is provided on the surface of the cage 3. The ceramics rolling elements each adopt ceramics formed of a sintered body mainly containing -sialon represented by a composition formula of Si6-zAlzOzN8-z (0.1z3.5 in the formula) and having a Young's modulus of 180-270 GPa.
